Friends of St. Marys (P.T.A)

We currently meet at the beginning of each term and then accordingly depending on what events are in the timetable - dates and times will be advertised on our Facebook page and in the school newsletter.  The minutes from previous meetings can be found in the note section of our page –

If you have any fundraising ideas or would like to volunteer some of your time, please join us at one of the meetings, let one of the committee know or send a message to us c/o the school office, Facebook page or email us at  Every parent or guardian of a child attending Westbury School is automatically considered to be a member of The Friends of St Mary's School for the duration of their child's attendance at the school. Membership is also open to past pupils of the school and people living and working within the local community and school catchment area.

Our objectives are  - to raise funds by means of organising events and social occasions for pupils, their families and also the local community where possible - to use these funds to assist the school in the purchase of non-essential equipment or to fund complementary educational visits, where these costs are not met through the schools state funding - where appropriate, to assist school staff in the provision of activities within the school, where these activities are funded with help from The Friends of St Mary's School.

This year we have paid for transport to take the entire school to the pantomime in Shrewsbury, the bus for the years 5 & 6 residential trip and the bus for the new Preschools class trip to Hoo Farm.  We also fund the annual Father Christmas visit to school and help towards the Christmas party.

Please feel free to come along to the next meeting which is:

All parents are very welcome
