A copy of an Ofsted Report for Worthen Primary School can be views on the OFSTED website (link below). The school was inspected 8-9th November 2016.

As you know, school aged children from Hope and St. Mary's, Westbury have also been taught at Worthen Primary School since September and the three schools are subject to formal amalgamation proposals by the Local Authority.

This report provides good evidence of the impact on standards already.



 Following our OFSTED  inspection in February 2014, Michelle Parker made a follow up visit in June 2014.

Michelle commented on how well the staff and Governors had been working do tackle the areas for development that were identified in the report.

At St Mary's we are very proud of our school community, staff and Governors who continue to support the growth and development of the school and it's pupils.


SIAMS  (Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools)

As an aided school St Mary's also receives a SIAMS inspection. The focus of this inspection is to monitor the R.E and Collective Worship provsion at the school and the effect that the Christian ethos  has on the children  who attend it.
